Brand Executive – Funeral Director Branches

🕒 Full-Time, Permanent

📍 Location: Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham (Hybrid flexible, 3 days office, 2 from home) – Some regional travel will be needed and will be discussed after your application.

💷 Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (DOE) + £4,000 Annual Car Allowance.

At Dignity Funerals, our Head Office teams support the success of our branch network across the UK and further the implementation of critical projects that enable our business to deliver its outstanding client services.

We are now seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to join us within our Marketing team as a Brand Executive for our Funeral Director branches.

This role will offer the desired candidate the opportunity to bring their creative flare, increase our brand awareness, improve customer engagement and play a crucial role in shaping our Funeral Brand’s identity.

Point of Sales (POS):

  • Manage the brand inbox with incoming queries from branches looking to create marketing materials for local events.
  • Work with our studio Team to deliver engaging branch-level marketing materials.

Website & Social Media:

  • Devise and build a Social Media Champion programme – with content calendars and training sessions to upskill our branch network on social media attraction.
  • Improve the effectiveness of local content by staying abreast of trends, new platforms and collaborative opportunities.
  • Regularly review local webpages to optimise content, ensuring the accuracy of information to improve search engine rankings.

Branding & Local Marketing:

  • Assist branches in rebranding, creating new marketing materials aligned to new brand guidelines and working with the Retail Brand Manager to analyse branch marketing performance.
  • Create a programme of local marketing activity for branches to take inspiration from, planning local events, open days, coffee mornings and charity events.

Projects:

  • Defining and delivering marketing strategies in your areas of focus to help branch teams conduct local marketing as effectively as possible.

What we are looking for...

  • A valid Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Multiple years of experience in a marketing or brand role, either in-house or within an agency.
  • Degree educated or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent creative writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt the tone of voice for different audiences.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing or brand campaigns, with a focus on meeting project deadlines.
  • Demonstrable organisational skills with a methodical approach to managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, fostering trust and inclusivity in both internal and external relationships.
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Yext, and Umbraco, or a willingness to learn. Proficiency with the MS Office suite is also required.
