This isn't just about filling vacancies. It's about giving every candidate a genuinely engaging experience, being a supportive and knowledgeable partner to our hiring managers and building real trust in our Talent Acquisition team.

If you enjoy owning a region, building relationships across the business, and bring experience of both volume and complex recruitment, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

Reporting to our Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manager, you'll own the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding experience for your designated region, working closely with Heads of Region and Department Heads to understand and deliver against their differing recruitment needs.

You'll manage a varied caseload, spanning volume and complex recruitment, multi-tasking across a range of roles and stakeholders at any one time. You'll also work closely with our Apprenticeship Manager, helping us identify where roles could be recruited as apprenticeships and build talent for the future.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering an Exceptional Candidate Experience

  • Manage the end-to-end talent acquisition and onboarding process, from first contact through to onboarding, for all workforce requirements across your designated region.
  • Pre-screen and shortlist candidates, arrange and support interviews, and provide detailed feedback to both progressed and rejected candidates.

Partnering With Hiring Managers

  • Take role briefings, write adverts, and design attraction, sourcing, assessment and selection methodology, internal and external.
  • Coach and support hiring managers, building their confidence and capability in the hiring and interviewing process.

Building Our Talent Pipeline

  • Proactively source candidates using a range of methods, working closely with third-party job boards to build effective sourcing campaigns and strategies.
  • Work closely with the Apprenticeship Manager to identify where roles could be recruited as apprenticeships.
  • Use appropriate tools and systems to generate a pipeline of talent for future workforce requirements.

Bringing Insight & Improvement

  • Create and compile recruitment reports, tracking KPIs such as time to hire, cost per hire, conversion rate and the ratio of direct to agency hires.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on local, regional and national labour market conditions and the competitor landscape.
  • Keep up to date with government legislation surrounding recruitment, onboarding, right to work and due diligence.

You'll Excel in This Role If You

  • Are driven to succeed and motivated by getting it right for clients, delivering a service that's right first time, every time.
  • Are creative and can promote Dignity as an employer of choice, internally and externally.
  • Align with Dignity's mission and vision and excel working as part of a team, with a collaborative approach.
  • Work in a flexible and hybrid way, spending a minimum of three days a week in a designated office.
  • Are interested in process design, improvement and continuous improvement in practice.
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant recruitment experience gained in an RPO, agency or in-house environment; experience of both agency and internal recruitment is ideal.
  • Proven experience managing both volume and complex recruitment processes, multi-tasking across a varied caseload of roles and stakeholders.
  • Experience owning a designated region and building strong working relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience working across different sectors, hiring entry-level through to senior manager roles.
  • A sound knowledge of recruitment practices, assessment and selection, and the tools and systems that support them.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment with multiple customer groups.

Why Dignity

Dignity exists to help every family in Britain navigate the hardest moments of life with simplicity, dignity, kindness and exceptional care. Our vision is to become the UK's leading end-of-life company, helping one in three people across the UK to plan for and deal with death.

We're at a defining moment in our history. A strategic reset, stronger foundations and new energy are creating real momentum, as we build a modern, end-to-end platform that supports families through every stage of need: wills, funeral plans, funerals, probate, cremations, burials and memorialisation.

We move with care and with pace. The people here care about getting it right for families, for each other and for the long term. If you want to be part of an organisation where your contribution has a visible impact on people's lives, this is that place.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Statement

Our vision is to connect with our clients, colleagues, company and communities based on our principles whilst celebrating our differences. We aim to empower leaders and colleagues to seek out and understand new voices and perspectives, to be vocal about inequity and exclusion, and to take decisive, informed and bold action to promote inclusion and belonging.

Any unsolicited submissions from agencies will be accepted as a direct application from the candidate, and no fees will be payable.

We reserve the right, depending on application numbers, to close or extend the closing dates for positions; we would therefore recommend an early application.
