Change that families will feel.

At Life Services Group, we're the UK's leading end-of-life company. We help one in three people across the UK plan for and deal with death, and our mission is to support every family through the hardest moments of life with simplicity, dignity, kindness and exceptional care.

As our Reporting & Business Intelligence Manager, you'll lead the next phase of our reporting and analytics journey. This is a role focused on building strong foundations: creating trusted reporting, improving data quality, simplifying our Tableau estate, driving self-service adoption and embedding reporting across key business transformation programmes, including Falconer.

Leading a team of analysts across Birmingham and Maidenhead, you'll balance strategic direction with hands-on delivery, ensuring data helps our leaders make better decisions and ultimately supports better outcomes for the families we serve.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading and developing the team, setting priorities and ensuring high-quality delivery across the function.
  • Owning and enhancing the organisation's reporting landscape, ensuring reporting is accurate, relevant and trusted.
  • Working with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful reporting solutions.
  • Driving the adoption of self-service reporting and dashboards, enabling teams to access insights more effectively.
  • Overseeing the management and continuous improvement of the Tableau reporting environment.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and standardise reporting processes across the business.
  • Supporting key transformation initiatives, including Falconer, by embedding reporting and performance insights.
  • Establishing robust governance, data quality and reporting standards to ensure consistency and confidence in business information.

What you'll bring

You're an experienced reporting and business intelligence leader who combines strong technical knowledge with a genuine passion for helping organisations make better decisions through data. You're comfortable leading teams, influencing stakeholders and translating complex business requirements into practical reporting solutions that deliver real value.

You'll have:

  • Proven experience leading and developing a BI, reporting or data team.
  • Strong Tableau expertise, with a track record of developing impactful dashboards, reporting solutions and best practices.
  • A track record of reducing manual effort through automation and process improvement.
  • Experience managing competing stakeholder requirements and influencing decision-making at all levels, including senior leadership teams.
  • A strong understanding of data governance, data quality and trusted business reporting principles.
  • Experience delivering reporting and insight solutions that support operational performance and strategic decision-making.
  • Experience driving reporting transformation initiatives and increasing adoption of self-service reporting.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and delivery.

Why Life Services Group

Life Services Group exists to help every family in Britain navigate the hardest moments of life. We bring together trusted names across funeral services, crematoria and cemeteries, legal services, direct cremation and wills, including Dignity Funeral Directors, CMG, Simplicity Cremations, Dignity Legal Services and Farewill, so families can get more of the support they need in one place.

Our ambition is to support one in three families across the UK as they plan for, navigate and deal with death. We want to set a new standard for care, service and simplicity across the sector.

Death is part of life, and being there for families when it matters is what we do. That means making difficult moments feel more supported, more straightforward and more human.

We are building a modern group that supports families at every stage, from planning ahead with wills and funeral plans, to arranging a funeral, cremation or burial, and managing probate afterwards. This is a defining moment for our business. With stronger foundations, clearer strategy and real momentum, we can change end-of-life care for the better. We are modernising how we work, investing in our colleagues and technology, and helping more families than any one brand could alone.

Wherever you work in Life Services Group, in one of our local teams, specialist brands or group functions, you’ll be part of work with meaningful purpose. You will help families through some of life’s hardest and most important moments.

Across all our brands, we want colleagues to grow with us through better training, stronger support, modern tools and clearer opportunities to build skills and confidence. You’ll be part of teams who care deeply about what they do, look out for each other and take pride in doing work that matters.

You will also help shape the future of end-of-life care. That means making support simpler, more connected and more human for families, while each brand keeps the identity, expertise and community connection people already know and trust.

If you want a career with meaningful purpose, room to grow with us and the chance to shape the future, find your Life’s work.
