Employee Relations Advisor

🕓 Full-Time, Permanent
📍 Maidenhead, Berkshire (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)
💷 £40,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Team in Maidenhead. In this permanent, full-time role, you will manage employee relations with sensitivity and empathy, offering guidance and support on grievances, conducting investigations, and advising on disciplinary matters. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of respect and inclusion, significantly shaping our workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on diverse employee relations matters.
  • Conducting thorough investigations into employee complaints or concerns, ensuring a fair and impartial process.
  • Providing coaching and guidance to managers on performance management and disciplinary procedures.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborating with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to address systemic issues and drive continuous improvement in employee relations practices.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in Employee relations
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or qualified through relevant experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices in employee relations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
